Terms of Service

By purchasing from/commissioning Artifice By Artifact, you agree to these terms of service. You must be over the age of 18 to purchase from or commission us.

Payment and Refunds

Payment (plus estimated cost of shipping) is due in full upfront before materials are ordered or work on the item begins. Items that are complex or that use exotic materials will incur an additional fee. PAYMENT IS NOT REFUNDABLE.Commissions can generally be shipped within the United States.In the event that the cost of the project or shipping changes unexpectedly, we'll reach out to discuss how to proceed.Payments are made via Square invoices, allowing you to pay with the service of your choice.

Timeline

Most commissions are completed and shipped in 1-2 months, but we do not guarantee this timeline. Upon request, priority commissions are sometimes available for an added fee.

Communication

Communication around commissions generally occurs via email or DMs on Instagram/Bluesky.The easiest way to check the status of your commission is to visit our Trello. We'll reach out when the item has shipped.

Measurements

While we will provide guidance on how to measure for your commission, you are responsible for giving us the correct measurements. We will not refund incorrectly-measured commissions. Please note that every weave has slightly different size constraints, and may be slightly larger or slightly smaller than requested.

Privacy

Please inform us if you wish for a commission to remain secret and for how long. Non-secret projects may have WIP images shared to social media, and most projects will eventually have final photos shared.

Liability

To keep it brief: we make crafts out of materials like metal! Misuse can result in damage to the items or to yourself and those around you. We're not responsible for any damage or injury resulting from use or wear of our products.
